Speaker:

Melissa Tossell, NCIDQ, ARIDO, BCIN

As the principal and owner of Sanura Design, alongside her team, Melissa offers turnkey design build services for busy professionals and leaders in their homes and small businesses using "Intuitive, Intelligent, Quality Design and a Sense of Humour".

She found a knack for guiding and helping clients through the entire renovation process- being able to balance pushing their boundaries into what they love with handling the nitty-gritty details like permits, contractors, and detailed designs (while keeping timelines and budgets in line).

Today she takes great joy in her work and passionately supports her community through volunteerism (a requirement for everyone at Sanura Design)- both every Monday at Furniture Bank and through her association ARIDO. She also mentors students and those starting their careers, and writes and speaks where she can to educate the public on design and beyond.

It is important to be seen as an expert in your field.

  • Experts can get higher paying jobs
  • Experts attract other business opportunities
  • Experts are perceived as more valuable in a company
  • Experts earn trust from others.
  • Expertsrespect from others
  • Experts can be a lot more successful than their counterparts.
